【議長選舉】藍營發豪語搶19縣市 僅嘉義縣、市、台南市無望
九合一大選落幕，各地方正副議長選舉悄悄展開；選戰中大獲全勝的國民黨，4日也開始布局，欲爭取「22取19個」議長選舉佳績。
國民黨中央委員會組織發展委員會（組發會）主委李哲華4日受訪時表示，黨中央已個別與縣市黨部主委約詢，了解各地方有意爭取正副議長的選舉人選，以利進行選情評估。
李哲華指出，桃園市、基隆市、新竹縣、苗栗縣、彰化縣、南投縣、台東縣、花蓮縣、金門縣及連江縣等10個直轄市、縣市「篤定」拿下正副議長寶座。
針對其餘席次剛好過半的新北市、澎湖縣、高雄市，或是未過半數的台北市、台中市、雲林縣、宜蘭縣、新竹市、屏東縣，李哲華認為可透過搭檔競選，與其他政黨或無黨籍議員合作。
「國民黨確定不可能搶奪議長、副議長選舉的地方，只有嘉義縣、嘉義市與台南市，」李哲華表示，黨中央決定開放議員自主投票。
此次正副議長選舉也擦出火花，繼民進黨屏東縣黨部日前「只推副議長、不推議長」，國民黨屏東縣黨部4日也做出決策「只提議長、不提副議長」，一搭一唱讓藍綠部分議員頗有微詞。
民進黨籍議員吳亮慶不滿黨「未戰先敗」，5日邀支持者到縣黨部外抗議，揚言要將黨部招牌拆下。（嚴凱泰罹癌驟逝）
