Bruce Wampler, Ph.D. is founder and CEO of Object Central. 臺灣國際衝浪公開賽登場 各式衝浪主題特色活動展熱鬧

臺灣國際衝浪公開賽已登場，相關活動至12月9日前在金樽舉辦，賽事舉辦期間台東縣府與台東縣體育會衝浪運動委員會(以下稱衝浪委員會)共同推出具衝浪特色之周邊活動，會場除了設置衝浪市集，提供在地美食及衝浪文創商品，也融入在元素，規劃以衝浪主題的特色DIY活動，有網版絹印DIY、衝浪繩編織、衝浪吊飾彩繪、海洋垃圾創作、SUP立槳衝浪體驗及陸地導覽等！
海洋垃圾創作
今年的衝浪賽事，結果地方特色，並提供予民眾來體驗，規畫「衝浪遊樂園」系列活動，包含六大活動，包括：「網版絹印DIY」-衝浪主題特色DIY活動攤位排列著一塊塊網版絹印DIY樣板，有衝浪手勢、椰子樹點綴檳榔及海浪圖騰、浪人衝浪及海浪圖騰等，民眾可選擇自己喜愛的彩墨顏色和樣板印製屬於自己的文青布包；「衝浪繩編織」—精心編織完成後可以和浪人一樣綁在腳踝或手腕，和浪人一樣有型!「衝浪吊飾彩繪」—拿著小小木頭衝浪板的基底，上面可以自行彩繪，無論是寫上名字或是畫圖，都是獨一無二的創作。
為響應環保浪潮，另有「海洋垃圾創作」(僅假日開放)，教民眾用台啤罐子做成美麗的吊飾，還可以和他人共同將海洋垃圾依照自己喜好創作成各種藝術作品。更有海域最夯的「SUP立槳衝浪體驗｣，在海港自由自在的挑戰水上平衡感，旁邊有專業教練指導與陪伴，除此之外，還有「海洋導覽解說與路上衝浪教學」，民眾可以從賽事解說、衝浪動作示範、衝浪小故事，一一了解衝浪世界，民眾可現場報名！
為了方便民眾交通，將提供台東市區←→金樽的交通接駁服務，提醒民眾如果搭乘鼎東客運的民眾請在東河包子站下車，再轉乘大會接駁車至金樽海岸。另外，民眾亦可以配合衝浪賽事於活動期間規劃一日遊套裝行程，相關訊息至2018臺灣國際衝浪公開賽官方網站(http://www.taiwanopenofsurfing.org/zh-hant/)、粉絲團以及Instagram查詢。
